"From Sensor Networks to Human Networks: Turning Big Data into Actionable Wisdom"
According to IDC, 2.4 zettabytes (2.4 billion terabytes) of unstructured "big data" will be created in 2012. From sensors on our bodies to interactions on social networks, new layers of data about people, places, and things are emerging in real time from many directions, providing context around our content, location, searches, purchases, environment, and social/interest graphs. This is creating new challenges for IT and communications industry around data storage, bandwidth and processing, but also new opportunities for delivering valuable services to customers and society, by converting this data into actionable wisdom.
Please join us on January 25th, 2012 for our 5th Annual Fujitsu North America Technology Forum to hear from industry experts on big data and its impact and see how Fujitsu R&D is leveraging big data and ICT technologies to deliver innovative solutions for the 21st century.
